Reverse Polarity
The proper way to make a reverse polarity protection circuit is by using a PMOS MOSFET.
A Schottky diode alone is an inefficient way to protect a circuit from reverse polarity because
it requires a constant flow of current through the Schotty diode, and the output voltage will be less
than the input due to the forward voltage drop of the diode.
